A vertically oriented manuscript page features thirteen horizontal rows of flowing black calligraphy on mottled tan paper. Centered and enclosed by a thin gold border with fine red and blue frame lines, the rhythmic ink strokes vary in thickness and overlap gracefully across the page. Small diagonal characters are tucked into the right margin. The composition emphasizes the fluid, calligraphic movement of text against the aged, warm-toned background.
