A vertically oriented beige page features thirteen horizontal lines of flowing Persian calligraphy in black ink. The script displays varied weights with dramatic, elongated horizontal strokes. A thin border of gold, red, and blue lines frames the writing, while dark stains mark the top edge. Smaller characters frequently nestle into the spaces created by the primary swooping lines, populating the composition on the aged paper.
