A vertically oriented page features several rows of black-inked Persian calligraphy on aged, tan paper. The script is organized into horizontal blocks and vertical columns, framed by thin red and gold borders. Dark brown stains mark the upper edge and left side, highlighting the textured, worn surface. Shorter lines of text sit within boxed sections at the top, while a longer passage of flowing calligraphy occupies the lower half.
