A vertically oriented manuscript page is inked with thirteen horizontal rows of flowing black calligraphy. Elegant, loopy characters display elongated strokes that sweep across the aged surface, the ink occasionally thickening or fading out. A thin gold frame, accented with red and blue lines, borders the script area. Small handwritten notes appear in the margins, and a dark smudge marks the bottom center. The warm paper backdrop highlights the rhythmic, curving motion of the ink.
