A vertically oriented manuscript page features rows of black inked Persian script on aged, tan paper. Three horizontal sections are enclosed within a thin gold and orange border. The middle section is divided into four small rectangular boxes containing short lines of text. Along the lower left edge, dark brown stains bleed into the paper. The elegant, flowing characters vary in thickness, with ink occasionally fading out against the textured background.
