A vertically oriented manuscript page of light-brown paper features black calligraphic script within a gold and red border. Seven horizontal lines of flowing text occupy the upper half. Below a blank rectangular space, more text is arranged in diagonal columns that form an upward-pointing wedge. Faint script from the reverse side shows through the paper, which is stained along the bottom edge.
