A vertically oriented tan page features fifteen lines of black calligraphic script within a thin gold and red border. The fluid Persian text is organized into sections: seven long rows at the top, a central two-by-two grid of shorter verses, and four lines at the bottom. Small dark spots and stains mark the aged paper. The elegant ink characters are written in a flowing style on the weathered manuscript leaf.
