A vertically oriented tan paper page features fourteen lines of flowing black Nasta'liq script, a style of Persian calligraphy. The top four lines are separated into rectangular boxes, followed by ten full-width rows. Fine red, blue, and gold lines form a multi-layered border around the central text area. Occasional red diacritics appear between the undulating strokes. Mottled brown stains mark the top edge, and faint script from the reverse side shows through the aged paper.
