A vertically oriented tan page displays black Persian calligraphic script framed by thin gold and red borders. The text is arranged in three segments: a single top line, a central grid of four boxes with verses, and nine lines of prose. Several words in the lower section feature black ink strikethroughs and underlines. The flowing script contrasts with the rigid geometric layout, while faint text from the reverse side shows through the thin aged paper.
