A vertically oriented rectangular page features thirteen horizontal lines of Persian calligraphic script written in black ink on aged, cream-colored paper. Small red marks and tiny annotations are interspersed between the lines of fluid text. A thin border of gold and orange ink frames the writing, while dark brown staining appears at the top edge. The calligraphic strokes vary in weight, characteristic of a historical manuscript page.
