A vertically oriented page of aged cream paper features Persian calligraphy written with black ink. A thin gold and red border frames the text. Two lines of large script sit above a grid of four boxes containing smaller writing. A dense block of flowing, slanted text fills the lower section. The fine brushstrokes show varying ink density across the surface, which is marked by slight discoloration and faint red notations in the margins.
