A vertically oriented manuscript page features horizontal rows of black-inked script on aged tan paper. Near the bottom, the layout shifts into three vertical columns. The flowing characters streak across the page within a thin red and gold border. In the lower left margin, a small gray bird figure appears. The stained, mottled paper has slightly frayed edges, and the ink thickness varies across the rows of text.
