A vertically oriented tan page features ten lines of Nasta'liq script, a style of Persian calligraphy, written in black ink with red markings. Below, a rectangular grid divides the space into four cells containing more text. A fine red and gold border frames the composition. The aged paper shows a large brown stain at the bottom center. Additional lines of script appear at the bottom edge of the page.
