A vertically oriented manuscript page features thirteen horizontal rows of fluid black calligraphy on aged tan paper. Small red accents punctuate the slanted script, which is framed by a narrow gold and red rectangular border. Mottled brown staining marks the lower edge of the sheet. In the lower left margin, a single short line of script sits outside the frame. The elegant, dense characters show delicate variations in ink density and traditional penmanship.
