A vertically oriented page features flowing black Persian script on tan paper within a gold-lined frame. Two upper boxes contain two lines of text each, followed by eleven horizontal rows of larger script. Tiny red marks accent the ink, and dark brown stains mar the paper's top and bottom. A single word is centered above the gold border. The calligraphic strokes vary in thickness across the aged surface.
