One side of a vertically oriented manuscript page features rows of flowing Persian calligraphy in black ink on tan-colored paper. The slanted, elegant characters are framed by thin gold and red borders, with a central section split into two columns. Occasional blue and red markings punctuate the text. Dark staining and discoloration are visible along the bottom edge, where the paper has weathered and darkened over time.
