This print was published as plate 9 from the series The Banqueters.
A vertically oriented black-inked lithograph depicts two men with light skin tones struggling in churning waves. To our left, a man clings to a thick wooden post. Below, a second man reaches forward while partially submerged. A kettle flies through the background air. Above, text reads "LES BANQUETEURS." Inscribed below is "— Quelle fichu idée nous avons eu de venir contempler l'arrivée de la marée! . . . ."
