A horizontally oriented ink and color painting depicts pink mallow flowers with white petals that blend into soft pink edges. Five open blossoms with textured yellow centers and two buds grow from stalks with large, green, lobed leaves. Fine, curved lines and blue speckles suggest grass across the muted beige paper. A vertical seam divides the composition, which is anchored by a large floral cluster on the right and a smaller spray to the left.
