A horizontally oriented ink drawing on paper depicts a landscape with clusters of dark, grainy trees in the foreground. In the middle ground, thatched-roof huts and a thin boat sit among spindly trees. Receding horizontal bands of short, vertical brushstrokes create a sense of distance. The composition is rendered in shades of gray with expressive, splotchy textures. Two small red seals are stamped on the left edge.
