A horizontally oriented gum tempera and ink painting on a palm leaf folio depicts two dense blocks of black script on a tan surface. Frayed edges and a central rectangular cutout define the leaf's weathered form. Red circular medallions flank the text; the left contains a dark symbol, and the right features the number twenty-two. Horizontal grain striations are visible across the leaf.
