A vertically oriented drypoint print in black ink depicts a person from the shoulders up, wearing a crested helmet and facing our right. Dense, frantic cross-hatching casts the left side of their face into deep shadow, while lighter, curving lines define wavy hair curling around the neck. Coarse, rhythmic hatching suggests a garment over the shoulders against a plain background within a thin rectangular border.
