An ink and light color painting on an album leaf is divided by a center seam. In the center, three figures with light skin, wearing cream robes and black hats, huddle. Two hold thin staffs angling left. The central man faces us while the others turn inward. Japanese calligraphy and red seals flank the right side, balanced by another seal in the bottom left corner. Soft, blotchy brushwork defines the scene against plain paper.
