Icicles encase the leaves and red berries of the Nandina domestica (Heavenly Bamboo).

Description

Leaf 10 Zhou Yi's colophon reads: Green bamboos stand alone with a snowy covering, In the deep recesses of a secluded valley, the evening breeze is light. White egrets are lean as shadows with the cold ripples frozen, They enter the gorge not just to admire the fish.
A muted grey silk painting depicts three white egrets gathered on a rocky outcrop. Pine branches with green needles and red berries lean in from the upper left, dusted with white pigment. One bird lifts its head while the others point their beaks downward. To the right, a large rock face features black calligraphy and two red seals. A patterned cream-colored textile border surrounds the central scene.
