The rock changes from ochre to green deepening into azurite blue accented with delicate dots of malachite green.

Description

Leaf 8 Li Bing's colophon reads: Maple leaves drift in the wind, the autumn gusts bracing, Hibiscus flowers steeped with water, the evening breeze light. The moonlight's slanting beams shine upon dreaming lovers. No wonder that pair of fowl should dream of their absent partners.
A horizontal silk album leaf features two rectangular panels. On our left, vertical columns of black ink calligraphy and red seals fill a pale yellow ground. To the right, three ducks rest on a shore beneath a soft, circular moon. A gnarled tree with orange foliage overreaches a craggy blue and green rock and pink blossoms. Both panels are framed by a cream silk mount with an intricate, swirling pattern.
