A vertically oriented gum tempera and ink painting depicts a woman with a medium-light skin tone walking toward our right through a lush forest. She wears a red and gold patterned garment and translucent veil, holding two flowering branches. Stylized green trees with yellow blossoms surround her, while monkeys and birds perch above. Two large blue peacocks stand near her feet. Below, ducks swim in a dark pond beside a slithering snake.
