Did You Know?

Samantabhadra rides a six-tusked white elephant, while Manjusri is seated upon a lion.
A vertically long hanging scroll depicts a Buddhist triad. Centrally, Shakyamuni Buddha sits cross-legged on a tiered throne, his right hand raised. To our left sits Samantabhadra atop a white elephant, and to our right sits Manjushri on a dark lion. Circular halos frame each head. Faded red and gold pigments highlight the ornate thrones and patterned robes, appearing as subtle details against the background of darkened silk.
