A vertically oriented etching depicts a man standing centrally, facing forward with a dark mustache and pointed beard. He wears a voluminous black cloak over dark stockings, with white collar and cuffs visible where his hands gather fabric at his waist. To our left, a curved sword rests on the ground, casting a long shadow toward the right. The background is built of dense, hatched lines. A signature sits in the bottom right corner.
