A square oil painting features a bouquet of ruffled white, yellow, and deep red roses in a transparent cylindrical vase. Thick, textured layers of paint define the blossoms against a golden-brown background. Below, on a dark wooden surface, a deep crimson rose and a pink bloom lie horizontally next to green leaves. A fine web of cracks overlays the entire composition, and a signature appears in the lower-left corner.
