A hanging scroll in monochromatic ink depicts a vertical landscape of tall peaks shrouded in hazy white mist. Dense clusters of brushstrokes and black dashes convey trees and vegetation clinging to undulating hills. A thin waterfall streams down a cliff on our right near small buildings. At the base, a person is portrayed through brief brushstrokes while crossing a bridge. Vertical columns of Chinese calligraphy and red seals mark the top right corner.
