A vertically oriented gum tempera and graphite painting depicts Kali, a four-armed deity with black skin and three eyes against a yellow background. A green, spiked halo surrounds a golden crown, while a long red tongue extends from her mouth. On our right, hands hold a curved blade and a light-skinned severed head. On our left, one palm faces us. She wears a red and white striped garment and necklaces of human heads.
