A vertical hanging scroll depicts a landscape in ink and muted washes. In the foreground, spindly pine trees with dark dashes for needles rise from a rocky shore. To the left, tiny figures float in a boat. In the middle ground, a walled town sits at the foot of tall peaks, the tallest crowned by a tiered tower. Rounded, undulating peaks rise through hazy, white mist at the top, near the artist's signature and seal.
