A horizontally oriented gum tempera and ink painting depicts a dense forest bordering a gray river. To our left, riders on horseback strike a tiger submerged in red ripples. Centrally, a large tiger leaps through stylized trees. Men in colorful tunics and turbans surround it, brandishing swords or aiming long guns. A procession with red flags and drums follows on our right. In the bottom right corner, small deer huddle.
