A vertically oriented hanging scroll in monochromatic ink depicts two long-tailed birds perched on a craggy rock. The birds gaze left toward ripples in water. Behind them, narcissus flowers with long, sweeping leaves extend upward toward the top right. This work on tan paper uses varying shades of gray and black ink with a small red seal in the lower right. Patterned borders frame the top and bottom.
