A hanging scroll with ink and color on silk depicts a misty landscape in muted browns. A rounded mountain peak rises above dense fog, while a small hut sits nestled among dark, feathery clusters of bamboo. A path lined with long, wispy grasses winds from the bottom right toward the center. Chinese calligraphy and a red seal feature in the upper right corner (see "Inscriptions").
