A hanging scroll in muted tan and gray ink depicts a mountain landscape. In the lower right foreground, a gnarled tree with spindly, weeping branches leans over a bank. A boat rests on the water to the left. Beyond, rounded undulating mountains rise through a hazy atmosphere, textured with dark, horizontal brushstrokes. Vertical columns of Chinese calligraphy and a red seal occupy the upper right corner.
