A hanging scroll depicts a vertical landscape in muted brown tones. Spindly, leafless trees and a small house stand on the left. To our right, a grassy mound features evergreens and a small boat with a mast. Rolling mountains recede into a hazy distance. Chinese calligraphy and a red square seal occupy the upper left corner. Fine brushstrokes and dark dashes convey the textures of the trees and rolling hills.
