A horizontally oriented graphite drawing on off-white paper depicts a cathedral framed by a massive, ornate gothic archway. Centered through the opening, a square tower with rows of vertical windows and pointed finials rises above a yard of small stone structures. The foreground arch features dense traceries and ribbed supports, defining the composition with delicate lines. Faint cursive text appears along the bottom edge.
