A vertically oriented hanging scroll on cracked silk depicts a bearded Sakyamuni Buddha with a medium skin tone. Facing forward, he sits cross-legged on a rocky base with hands clasped at his chest. A faint, large circular halo frames his head, which features a rounded protrusion. He wears circular earrings, bracelets, and dark robes with bold, swirling patterns. The figure emerges from a dark, shadowy background, his gaze fixed forward.
