A vertically oriented hanging scroll in ink and color on tan silk depicts a monkey suspended from a curved branch arching from a dark rock on the right. Soft, blurred washes define the monkeys' fur, contrasting with gnarled, sweeping branches dotted with small blossoms. A smaller monkey clings to its chest. In the lower right, vertical text and two red seals appear against the muted, atmospheric background.
