Description

This print was published in Le Charivari (May 28, 1837) as plate 50 from the series Caricaturana.
A vertically oriented lithograph depicts four light-skinned figures in an interior. On the left, a man in a vibrant patterned blue robe stands by a table. Centrally, a woman in a purple bodice and white skirt sits holding a child. To the right, a man in a dark jacket and red pants stands with arms crossed. A pale green screen stands behind them, while cursive script fills the bottom margin.
