A vertically oriented gum tempera painting depicts Lakshmi and Sarasvati standing on pink lotuses against a light blue background. On our left, Lakshmi wears a red sari and holds a lotus bud. On our right, Sarasvati wears a black sari while strumming a stringed instrument. Both goddesses have medium-light skin tones, wear pointed crowns, and are framed by green lotus leaves and pink buds on arched stems.
