Description

Vishnu in his four-armed form is depicted seated with his consort Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth) while his vehicle, the eagle, kneels in front of him.
A vertically oriented tempera painting depicts Vishnu and Lakshmi seated on a yellow bench. Vishnu, on our left, has four arms, dark blue skin, and a yellow wrap. To our right, Lakshmi has light skin and wears a red and orange striped sari. Both wear pointed crowns and silver jewelry. Below, a small figure with green wings and light skin crouches. Bold black outlines define the simplified figures against a plain, tan background.
