A vertically oriented gum tempera painting depicts three figures on a vibrant yellow background filled with faint sketches. On our left, the white-bodied monkey Hanuman raises a green tree. In the center, Sita, a woman with a medium skin tone, stands in a patterned red sari. On our right, the blue-skinned Indrajit leaps mid-air in yellow and red garments, brandishing a curved sword and clutching Sita's long black hair.
