A vertically oriented gum tempera and graphite painting on paper depicts two figures beneath a pink scalloped border. On our right stands Durga, a woman with a medium-light skin tone and ten arms, wearing an ornate red and orange sari with silver accents. One hand holds a sword aloft. On our left, a man with green skin in a yellow wrap and pink sash faces her while she gazes toward our left.
