A horizontally oriented etching in black ink depicts two snarling lions in a rocky landscape. One lion lunges left, its muscular body defined by hatched lines. Behind it, another lion faces us with wide eyes and a gaping mouth. The scene features rolling hills and a gnarled tree stump against a sky of horizontal strokes. Below, Latin text reads: "P. P. Rubens pinxit" and "A. Bloteling fecit."
