A gum tempera and ink painting on paper features two vertical panels. The left panel depicts a man with dark skin, in a white tunic, green pants, and a turban, walking right while playing a lyre against a tan ground dotted with flowers. The right panel displays rows of black Persian script surrounded by blue vine patterns. Both are framed by gold-flecked borders and thin gold and red lines.
