A vertically oriented gum tempera and gold painting depicts a terrace crowded with women, at the center of which a woman with a medium-light skin tone reclines on a platform. To our left, musicians play while an elder peers from a doorway. To our right, four women gather, one holding a white whisk. Fountains and lush gardens fill the middle ground, framed by a white building beneath a dark and orange sky.
