A vertically oriented gum tempera and ink drawing is rendered in muted earth tones and delicate linework. In the upper half, Kabir sits on our left reading beneath a leafy tree, facing a man holding prayer beads. In the lower section, a third man with light skin tone squats near a pool and two ducks. Arched walls form a background for the three light-skinned figures in this multi-tiered composition.
