A horizontally oriented tempera painting on pink paper centers two rows of stenciled animals amid winding gold floral stems. Six faint figures, including lions and gazelles, are silhouetted against the pink background. Metallic gold leaves and blossoms fill the gaps between figures. A repeating gold leaf border frames the scene, enclosed by thin cream and gold lines on a wide pink margin.
