A hanging scroll depicts a brown spotted deer with antlers, head tilted toward pink peaches on a gnarled tree trunk on our left. Tiny pink flowers sprout from a dark rocky outcropping in the lower foreground. To our right, vertical black calligraphy and two red seals sit against a muted tan background. The composition features soft greens and pinks on silk, with delicate brushwork defining the deer's fur and the tree's rough bark.
